So Olivia's room was our study. The only remnant of the study was the computer armoire, which I've always wanted to move to the living room so Boo can have her room completely to herself. Well, this weekend, we made that happen, but there was a casualty. For some unknown reason, the computer monitor is now completely dead. It will not power on at all, no matter what we try. Needless to say, we're very frustrated and annoyed. I had just edited some video, but had yet to upload it and now I can't. I can still upload still photographs if I work on my laptop, but that's annoying too since Dell makes such wonderful equipment (both comps are Dell) and my laptop only has half a screen visible.
So Boo has her room to herself but I can't update the blog much right now. Please stand by.

Forgotten video, denim cap, and a party!
I forgot to add some messy-faced Boo video.
AND we went to a party at our friend's Dave and Betty's house. But that video will have to wait for another time, since it's HUGE.
Memorial dress
Some video of Boo before we left for the Memorial. She found the dress to be quite tasty.
Boo at the park
Friday was such a lovely day, I took Boo to the park. She tried to eat grass and was generally pleased with the experience.
This one is a two-parter.
Excited and talking
On Thursday, apparently Livy was saying "ma-ma-ma-ma-ma" and "da-da-da-da-da" and "rah-rah-rah-rah-rah". When I got home, she decided to talk to me some more, so I got out the video camera. You can hear Tony trying to get her to say "ma-ma-ma" and "da-da-da" again. Livy looks back and forth at us like, "what, you want something?"
She doesn't say those words again, but she IS talking. I've had to cut the video into three parts.

Messy face, fancy dress, and more
So much to catch up on.
Vernessa and company took Olivia and all her preschool friends to Tanaka Farms in Irvine on Wednesday. She watched with glee as the kids picked strawberries and even snatched a newly pulled carrot out of one of her daycare providers hands and started to suck on it. The doctor told me at her last checkup that she could start on rice cereal and have just that for a month, but I'm thinking I'd like to hold off on introducing other solid foods until she has her six month checkup on April 18th.
Last night (Saturday, March 22) was the Memorial. Tony and I don't celebrate Easter, but we do attend an event that commemorates Jesus' "last supper", so Livy got dressed up for THAT.

I'm editing the video and will upload it today.
In the meantime, here's a (sadly) too dark picture I took. She fell asleep on her activity mat and the only camera I could find was the video camera, which also takes not so fabulous pictures. That's her lil' bald head on the lower left. She's now able to roll over onto her belly. She must have fallen asleep mid-roll.

And, lastly, here are some pics I took last night during her dinner. We're still working on getting most of the food IN her mouth and not around it.

Gigglin' Boo
Video is kinda dark, but the camera was handy the other night when I was able to make Boo giggle.
You have to understand, it's my mission in life to make this baby laugh. Wish I could bottle the feeling when she laughs.

Amendment to a complaint...
"you don't need to update the blog if you aren't going to include pictures or video."
Uh-huh. I see how it is.
Here's video taken last night during her evening feeding. Tony got her highchair out of storage. MUCH easier to feed her now.
