Boo's a rider

While attending a family event, Natalie got out a play n' ride for Sadie. Sadie ignored it, but Olivia loved it.

Lot's of uploading issues right now, so more later.

Long time

Admittedly, between working full time and taking care of a rambunctious toddler, I've been negligent about the blog. I need to train Tony on how to update it. Skyping seems to have filled some of the void, but here are some pics and videos to munch on.

This is from a couple of months ago. She's already grown so much since then. This is part of her flopping game. We put her on the bed sometimes when we're getting changed and she flops again and again like a sumo wrestler. Sometimes we get on the bed with her and she flops on us. Big fun.

Nonna says when Tony was a toddler, he'd bounce up and down when he was ready to get out of bed. The legacy continues.

Sometimes Boo looks like she's dancing to a song only she hears.

Some random catchup photos

A trip to Yuma

We had some time off from work and school and decided to drive down to Yuma to see Uncle Butch and Tia Maria.

On the way back we had an adventure and a half...Olivia threw up on mommy before getting in the car, then decided the half-curdled milk left in her tummy needed some air about five minutes into our trip. A little cranberry spit-up and four hours later, we were home, all of us smelling of baby spew and the open road.

Miss Nessa

And a cool, cool baby

I had hoped to upload video of Boo playing piano with Vernessa's son, but the audio doesn't upload well (video taken with phone camera). One of these days I'll figure out how to upload that stuff.

1 Year Checkup

20 pounds, 7 ounces. 29 inches tall. Head circumference, 18. Though her growth has been fine (aka, within the large realm of normal), she's now on the smaller side of the scale...from bigger than 97% of kids to only 25-50% of kids. She's lost some of her baby fat from being more active, and she's a cruiser now. I'd be surprised if she's not walking by Jan. 1st. She's been cleared for cow's milk, so THIS cow is free! Not that she doesn't still nurse occasionally, but now it's more for comfort, and the burden of providing so much of her nutrition is off of me and up to flossie the cow now...and the folks at the farmer's market. I'd smash my pump as a sign of triumph, but I might need the thing again if we ever decide to shoot for a lil' brother (Oliver? How cute would that be?).

Here's some video of her taken a month or so ago at the park.

Vernessa and fishes

Here is a hodgepodge of pictures. Yesterday nonna treated us all to the Aquarium of the Pacific and lunch. Olivia was much braver than mommy when it came to touching the sting rays. I only managed to do it once and squirmed the whole time, while Boo did it three times and thought it was pretty darn cool. Nonna has video of it and I hope to post it soon. In the meantime, enjoys these pictures.

Last Sunday Olivia went to the meeting in one of her vintage outfits, captured here.

Here's one more picture from Tanaka Farms showing Olivia being held by Vernessa.

Here's one of my favorite pictures from our beach staycation a month ago.
